as in the thumbnail I have written cook smart and save time, definitely you can save time and this recipe is super tasty before that if you like this channels content do not forget to subscribe and hit the bell icon to get instant notification so let's get started for the recipe we need to take 1 cup black urad dal half cup rajma and 1/4 cup chana dal or bengal gram ratio of these three dals will be 1 : 50 : 25 I have soaked them over night
suppose if you are leaving for office then just soak them before leaving and when you reach home, it will be ready for cooking On high flame heat the pressure cooker and add ghee then add whole spices, cinnamon, cardamom and clove now put the flame on sim reason behind the initial high flame is it helps to infuse the aroma of whole spices in ghee now add all ingredients one by one, onion, tomato, ginger-garlic paste then add soaked dal, turmeric powder, Coriander powder, cumin powder, Garam masala, Red chili powder Dhania or Coriander leaves and Salt- as per taste Add 5 cups of water by measuring the same cup which you have used to measure dal Stir well to mix everything up I have add two slit green chili, you can add finely chopped green chili as per your taste Close the lid of pressure cooker and keep the flame on medium-high until 1 whistle
After 1 whistle, keep the flame on medium-low util 9-10 more whistles Let the pressure release by itself, then open the lid At this time you can remove whole spices Also check whether the dal has been cooked perfectly or not If you feel dal has not soft enough give 3-4 more whistles until desired softness
now take one potato masher and mash dal it will give a creamy consistency now keep the flame on sim and let it boil for 10 minutes I have used homemade cream for this recipe You can use store bought cream also but make sure to use room temperature cream in the recipe
Dal has been cooked for 10 minutes, already it has turned into a creamy consistency no need to add extra water now add cream please check description box for ingredient lists let it boil for another 5 minutes until the raw smell gone Dal makhani is completely ready for serving if you try the recipe then you will get to know how tasty it is you can see the consistency how creamy it is now garnish it with coriander leaves and add butter if you wish
