Tagore family's unique recipe – Spicy Pumpkin egg dum curry / Paka Mishti kumro r dimer dum 8 large pieces of sweet and ripe pumpkin (lightly fried) 4 eggs (lightly fried with salt & turmeric powder) 2 medium onion slices 4 sleeted green chilies 1 tsp ginger paste 1 tsp salt ¾ tsp kashmiri red chili powder 4 tsp homemade curry powder – 45 tsp whole coriander seeds +1

5 tsp whole cumin seeds +½ black pepper + ½ stick cinnamon + 4-5 green cardamoms + ½ tsp cloves First dry roast all the spices and then add 2 tsp turmeric powder with them and finally blend and make a fine powder I used 2 tbsp white oil for frying pumpkin pieces & eggs Then heat again this remaining oil Add 1 tsp ghee Add onion slices Sauté till it changes into golden brown colour Add 2 green chilies now add salt, curry powder, kashmiri red chili powder & ginger paste

Add little water Add 1 cup water Add fried eggs Flame to high When it started boiling, add fried pumpkin pieces 1 tsp sugar remaining 2 green chillies Add little water Cover it on medium flame for dum cook till pumpkin pieces are boiled (15-20 minutes) If pumpkin pieces are boiled and gravy is little thick, move Serve it with plain rice / roti / parattha please like/ share / comment & subscribe my channel
