Add salt as per taste Add 1/4 teaspoon of turmeric powder, red chili powder, ginger-Garlic paste, curd Add coriander powder, cumin powder, Garam masala powder, blck pepper powder, and lemon juice(extracted without seeds) Mix all the ingredients well Mix it well with hands Now marinate the chicken for 1 hour wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes It separates the grains and allows the rice to be fluffy, less sticky switch on the stove and heat a pressure cooker add 2 tablespoons of ghee and heat it Add 3 tablespoons of oil and heat it heat it, then add masala spices Add cardamom, star anise, cinnamon stick, marati bud, nutmeg, mace, black cardamom, cloves, and bay leaves mix it well with a spoon under medium flame add shah jeera into the masala spices instead of shah jeera you can also use cumin seeds fry it well add 1/2 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste fry it well add sliced onions and green chilies mix it well cover and cook the onions for 2 minutes under medium flame after 2 minutes stir it once and cook the onions evenly add chopped tomatoes, instead of tomatoes you can also use tomato puree mix it well cover and cook it for few more minutes after 2 minutes stir it once add cashew nuts, chopped mint, and coriander leaves mix it well mix them evenly cover and cook the tomatoes after 2 minutes open the pressure cooker and stir it once add a tablespoon of biriyani masala powder add 1/2 tablespoon of red chili powder mix it well and add enough salt stir it once biriyani tastes good when it is spicy if required you can adjust chili powder as per your taste mix well and cover it once marinate the pieces for 1 hour, due to marination moisture is released out from chicken pieces after 1 minute open the pressure cooker and stir it once mix them evenly add chicken pieces which are marinated for 1 hour mix it well cover and cook the chicken pieces for few minutes after 2 minutes open the pressure cooker and slowly stir chicken pieces once adjust the flame to medium after 5 minutes open the pressure cooker, moisture oozes out from chicken pieces now add soaked basmati rice into the chicken add soaked rice with the help of a slotted spoon in a pressure cooker, water quantity must be accurate so that add rice without water slowly mix it well cover and cook the rice for a minute in medium flame after a minute open the pressure cooker and add water for 1 cup of rice add 2 cups of water for 2 cups of rice, I had added 4 cups of water add water as per basmati rice quality for new basmati rice, we can use one and a half cup of water slowly mix it well check and add enough salt if required cover and cook on high flame up to 3 whistles prefer high flame only so that rice and chicken will cook perfectly cook the mutton biriyani under low flame and chicken biriyani on high flame allow it to cool for some time and open the pressure cooker slowly mix it once tasty and delicious chicken biriyani is ready now simple and tasty chicken biriyani is prepared in a pressure cooker transfer the chicken biriyani in a serving bowl
