Today, I am going to prepare a Masala Tea Daily, we prepare tea with tea powder, sugar, milk and water We would like to prepare different tea when we have some guest or we are down with head ache Now a days, we get Masala Tea powder from different brands When I used these Masala Tea powder, I only got the smell of a Masala tea, not the actual taste

They are giving flavour of Masala tea to the tea powder But, I didn't get any refreshing feeling while drinking it It might be my opinion Anyway, I'm going to prepare a Masala tea in traditional way by using normal tea powder with some spices Not only Indians, even foreigners like Indian Masala Tea

I have seen mostly foreigners drinking masala tea from Indian tea stalls in the nearby malls, than Indians Foreigners use mainly Coffee as hot beverage So they are interested in Indian tea / Indian Masala Tea Some of my friends requested Masala Tea Video They told me that they tried and didn't get the proper taste

That is the reason for today's video Some prepare Masala powder for Masala Tea in advance and keep it in shelf for using Today, I am not going to prepare anything like that I am going to prepare Masala tea with normal tea powder along with 2 to 3 handy fresh ingredients Everyone should try this recipe at home as it is very easy and refreshing hot beverage

Let us go through the preparation of Masala Tea These are the ingredients for Masala Tea We need Milk, Water, Tea Powder, Sugar, Fresh Ginger, Cardamom pods and Cloves These are the ingredients for Masala Tea Let us go through the preparation of Masala Tea

Let us start preparing Masala Tea Now, I am going to prepare 2 cups of Tea We are going to use equal parts of water and Milk (1:1 Ratio) 1 Cup of Water and 1 Cup of Milk I am using full fat milk

If you like light tea, use light milk or increase the water quantity and reduce milk I have kept 1 Cup water and extra 2 Tablespoons of water in a sauce pan We will be brewing after adding tea powder So keeping extra 2 TBS of water to balance the reduced water Need to remember half and half for one cup of tea

I have switched on both stovesI have kept Milk on small flameSo we get time to boil milk while brewing tea I am using these two pieces of fresh ginger for 2 cups of tea If you have Dry ginger (Chukku), you can use that as well

I don't have it now I usually use fresh ginger Masala tea will be tasty if you add fresh ginger Crush them in a Mortar and Pestle I am adding 3 cardamom pods for 2 cups of tea

Crush them in a Mortar and Pestle I am using tea powder with granules Not fine tea powder I always use Taj Mahal Tea powder We should brew the tea after adding tea powder to get good taste

I am going to use 1 Teaspoon of tea powder for 1 cup tea Water is boiling I am adding 2 Teaspoons of tea powder for 2 cups of tea Adding earlier crushed fresh ginger Adding earlier crushed 3 cardamom pods

Adding 3 cloves No need to crush these Tea will have sharp clove taste if you crush them Need to boil this for 2 minutes You can check time

Need to brew this on high flame for 2 minutes to get proper taste of spices and tea Milk is boiled and I am going to switch off the flame 2 minutes is over and we can add milk to this brewed tea I am adding sugar to the tea If you don't want sugar in tea, skip this

Or you can add after straining tea I usually add sugar while preparing tea I add 2 teaspoons of sugar for 1 cup tea So adding 4 teaspoons of sugar You need to bring this to boil after adding milk

Milk and brewed tea should mix well and boil together You don't need to boil it afterwards as we already got a strong tea Now, tea is boiling and I'm going to switch off the flame There is nice aroma of spices and ginger Strain your tea to a cup

And pour to another cup from a height to get form and tasty tea Repeat 2 times using 2 cups When you get nice froth, your tea tastes good Pour tea to serving cups Now, hot and refreshing Masala tea is ready to drink

As I said earlier, you can recover easily from a head ache when you drink this hot masala tea Everyone should try this at home Please share, if you like the recipe Please subscribe Sheby's Kitchen, if you haven't already Until we meet again with new recipe, bye
