ढकनी र जीरा आलू | How to make Dhakani | Special Nepali food recipe | Festival special food

Namaste welcome back to my channel today I am here with another special recipe which is dhakani I will share very simple recipe I will prepare this in a pressure cooker to prepare this I have heated the pressure cooker I will add 2 tbsp ghee I am using homemade ghee the ghee is heated now I am gonna add 1 and 1/2 rice I have soaked the rice for 10 minutes here I used basmati rice you can use any kind of rice saute the rice till it get golden brown in color I am gonna add 1/2 shredded dry coconut I will add 1/2 cup sugar too you can add sugar as per your taste fry this till the sugar melts this is one of the easiest way of making dhakani I am gonna add 1/2 tsp cloves, cardamom and black pepper powder this is optional but it gives good flavor fry this in a low flame I have 2 cups boiled milk to add in dhakani everything has fried well looks brown in color add milk close the lid and wait until it gives 3 whistles let's check the dhakani looks perfect I will prepare jeera aloo too add oil in a pan add 1 tsp cumin seeds add dried chilis too add turmeric powder add boiled potatoes saute the potatoes add cumin and coriander powder red chili powder salt as per your taste potatoes also ready now the dhakani is ready to be served and I have served this with fried potatoes and radish pickle Hope you guys liked the recipe for more delicious recipes please subscribe my channel please like, share and comment on my videos thank you for watching bye bye
