Sweet Potato Casserole Recipe : What to Do with Leftover Sweet Potatoes

Hi! I'm Jennifer Cail and on behalf of Expert Village, I'm going to show you how to make sweet potatoes Now it's after your dinner and you have some leftovers

It's always good to make more rather than less so you don't have to worry about running out What are you going to do with the leftovers that you have? Well first of all, you don't want to let this sit for too long You're going to want to cover it up and stick it in the refrigerator How long can this last? Well, I don't know about in your house, but in my house it never lasted more than a day or two after it was made anyway As long as you cover it with saran wrap, it should be fine in the refrigerator for a couple of days

What you don't want to have happen is to let it sit out for several hours getting cool and then stick it back in the refrigerator By then, you'll have bacteria that had already started to grow on it Then you start worrying about food poisoning and other safety issues Now, if you don't have enough leftovers to make it worth while keeping it in the entire container, then you can go ahead and put it into a plastic container in order to keep if for tomorrow If you put it into a plastic container, then you can not heat it back up in the oven, but you can certainly put it in the microwave and heat it up this way
