PIZZA RECIPE (PIZZA DOUGH) — Spoon and Paw, #6

I'll do this from the first take and after that we're done for today Got it? – On the air

Hello guys and welcome to the Spoon and Paw Channel Today we're cooking pizza Sometimes your friends may come to visit you so unexpectedly that you barely have time to do anything And if you have limited time to clean the house and cook a dinner, Pizza is a great option for you The entire cooking process takes 10 minutes only

Let's get started! Take 100ml of warm water (that's about 1/2 cup) and add 1 teaspoon of sugar as well as 1 (not full) tsp of dry yeast That's about a quarter of 7 gr package Check the instruction on the package thoroughly, in order to control the portion

Stir slightly Cover with a damp towel and let it sit for a while Now it's time to make the sauce 4 small or 2 medium sized tomatoes will be more than enough for one pizza Place them for 30 seconds in the hot water, and after that in the cold water

The temperature difference will help you to peel the skin easy and fast Make a small cut on each tomato and peel the skin off Then chop them finely or make a tomato puree in blender Place the tomatoes into a small sauce pan or fry pan Add a tbsp of olive oil or you may replace it with some butter Than add 1 pinch of salt and pepper, as well as Italian Herbs mix

(or at least a combination of oregano and basil) Bring the sauce to a boil than reduce the heat and simmer within an hour, stirring occasionally It's time to get back to the dough Sift 1 cup of flour (approx125 gr

) into a bowl Than add a large pinch of salt, and pour the yeast mix we did before Using a spoon, start kneading the dough Spread some flour on the surface And start kneading with your hands If the dough is too sticky you may sprinkle it slightly with some flour

But don't overdo with the flour or the dough won't rise properly It should be pretty elastic and stretchy Form it into a ball shape Spread the table with some flour again Place the dough and sprinkle a little bit of flour on top of it

Than cover with a bowl That's it Now you can run other errands The dough was sitting about an hour but if you have enough time leave it for 2 hours It's time to do the base

Slightly dip your hands in flour and punch the dough in order to remove the excessive air and form the edges Now flip it to another side Take a hot pizza pan or a tray from preheated oven (Maximum level) Dip your hands slightly in the flour again and take the dough Start stretching the dough evenly by using the back of your hand Keep in mind that it shouldn't be too thin, or the pizza will be torn

We also don't need excessive flour Place the crust on your arm, and sprinkle the pan with a little bit of semolina or flour Place the crust into the pan Take the sauce off the heat As you can see the excessive liquid is gone

You shouldn't use too much sauce 2 tablespoons will be more than enough Spread the sauce from the center towards the edges We will cook a classic Margarita pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and basil leaves 100 grams of cheese will be enough Sprinkle the pizza with some olive oil and bake it for 6-7 minutes (depending on the oven you have)

Keep an eye on it As soon as the cheese will melt and start bubbling, wait for 30 seconds and take the pizza out of the oven Place immediately some fresh basil leaves on top of it Don't cut the pizza right away, let it cool slightly Pizza is read
