This is a simple classic dinner I'm Tess and tonight I'm making an Italian sausage onion and pepper stir fry

(intro music) This Italian sausage onion and pepper stir fry is so easy with just a few ingredients In a pan on medium heat I'm adding in some good extra virgin olive oil and a little pat of butter I'm using Italian chicken sausage but you can use pork or turkey I diced the sausage into bite-size pieces Just cooking and stirring for three to four minutes just until the sausage browns
Adding in some diced onion and minced garlic Cooking and stirring for a couple minutes You can see the bottom of the pan has some nice good brown bits from the sausage As the vegetables cook down they will produce some moisture and pick up all that flavor In goes some multicolored bell peppers and you can use whatever you have on hand
Adding in a little salt and black pepper Cooking and stirring for a couple minutes If you wanted a little heat you could use some hot Italian sausage, add some red pepper flakes, some jalapenos or even a dash of hot sauce Just a reminder that you'll be able to find this recipe the list of ingredients and much more in the show more section below I've also included links where you can purchase online some of the ingredients and equipment that I use in this video recipe

I'm adding in some fresh chopped basil and rosemary You can use dried spices and you can add the spices that you like Giving that a toss for about a minute and we are ready to eat! Tonight I'm serving with some herb pasta and topped with some grated Parmesan cheese
