Healthy $1 Dessert Recipes – Easy Budget Meals! – Mind Over Munch

Hey Munchies, welcome if you're new! I'm Alyssia, and I'd like to welcome you to the channel If you didn't know, I've been sharing a mini series of budget recipes that are all less than one dollar per serving! We've done breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and now we're going to do desserts

I figured this was the right month for it! I'm also sharing vegan options for all of these Thumbs up! Let's start with my Fro-Yo Creamsicles Here are the ingredients you will need This is so easy! Simply add all of your ingredients into a mixing bowl and whisk to combine Remember that you'll want to use a coconut milk yogurt for a vegan option

Pour your orange mixture into small paper cups Transfer to the freezer for about an hour, and then it will be frozen enough that we can add our sticks I got these mini popsicle sticks on Amazon and I will link them below Slide in your sticks and return to the freezer After another few hours, once fully frozen, simply pull your pop out of the paper cup and enjoy! So easy, delicious, and super cheap! Next, we're going to make a seasonal treat, perfect for this time of year: Apple Crisp

Here are the ingredients you will need This recipe is actually from my Ho Ho Healthy ebook If you want to check it out after watching this video, you can head over to mindovermunchcom/ebooks, and if you want any of my ebooks or packages, you can use the code "DOLLAR" for 10% this week only Let's start by making our topping

In a large bowl, add oats, oat flour, coconut sugar, sweetener of choice, cinnamon, salt, coconut oil, and vanilla extract Mix to combine Next, chop your apple into cubes For the filling, add your chopped apple, dates, coconut sugar, sweetener, flour, lemon juice, and cinnamon in a bowl and mix to combine Spray down some mini ramekins or oven-safe baking dishes and fill them up with your apple mixture

Then, liberally sprinkle on your topping mix Trust me, don't skimp on the topping! It's delicious Bake in an oven preheated to three hundred and seventy-five degrees Fahrenheit for about forty minutes, and allow to cool slightly And then you can top it with a little bit of whipped cream (or coconut whipped cream for vegan) and a dusting of cinnamon Serve and enjoy! This dessert gives you all of the deliciousness of an apple pie, without the calories and fat, and it's got a nice price tag, too! Lastly, we're going to be making my No-Bake Peanut Butter Bars

Here are the ingredients you will need In a pot over medium heat, add peanut butter and honey Mix to combine, until smooth, creamy and melted Remove from heat, add in your oats, and mix to coat thoroughly Yum! Transfer to a square baking dish lined with foil and sprayed

Flatten it down nice and evenly Now, time for my favorite part, drizzle on some melted chocolate You'll of course want dairy-free melted chocolate for vegan Transfer to the refrigerator for a few hours, until firm Once chilled, remove the block from the baking dish and peel away the foil, and then you can just simply cut your block into bars

Serve and devour! These are so flavorful, decadent, nutritious – other than the chocolate, they could really be a breakfast bar – and they are so inexpensive! Being healthy does not have to mean expensive! If you agree and enjoyed this episode and this series, give this episode a thumbs up so that I know if you want more budget recipes Let me know which of these you're most excited to try in the comments below, and tag me on social if you do try any of them out! Thanks so much for liking, sharing, and subscribing, I'll see you next week, and, remember, it's all a matter of mind over munch!
