Beef Bulalo

Welcome to Panlasang Pinoy! Today we'll be making beef bulalo And here are the ingredients we'll be using for this recipe We'll need beef shank, or what we call bulalo, Nappa cabbage, or "pechay Baguio" Sweet corn We'll also need long green beans Some onions Whole black pepper Fish sauce And Knorr Beef Cubes Aside from these, we'll also need some water Here is the complete list of ingredients with all the measurements for each one When you're ready, let's get started! We'll boil some water in the pressure cooker and we're going to add the onions Then, add the whole black pepper After this, we'll let this boil for about 3 minutes Once the 3 minutes has passed, let's add the beef shank one by one Just let it boil And now, let's add our Knorr Beef Cube I use this to get a fuller, richer beef flavor for my bulalo Let's just stir this, then we'll add the cover to the pressure cooker We'll tenderize the beef by allowing it to cook in the pressure cooker for 40 minutes At this point, the bulalo should be ready The meat is now very tender Let's let the pressure out of the pressure cooker before we open it We'll mix this carefully The beef is so tender that if we don't mix carefully, it might fall apart into pieces It's better if we present the beef cut as a whole Now, let's add the sweet corn The sweet corn will help make the bulalo even tastier We're using one sweet corn that I cut into 5 small pieces Bring the broth to a boil, then let it cook for 15 minutes Now, let's add the long green beans And we'll add the fish sauce right after How much fish sauce we use is up to your preference Let's mix this, then let it continue cooking for 5 minutes After this, let's arrange our fresh nappa cabbage in a serving bowl, and let's transfer the soup into the bowl Thank you for watching this video!
